YachtSale.ai may use cookies, pixels, local storage, session storage and similar technologies. These technologies may be necessary to provide the website technically, to enable logins, ensure security, store preferences, measure reach or support marketing measures.

11.1 Necessary cookies

Necessary cookies are required for the platform to function securely and reliably. These include in particular login, security, session and language settings cookies.

We store personal data only for as long as this is necessary for the respective purposes, consent exists, statutory retention obligations apply or legitimate interests in storage exist.

In particular, contract, invoice and accounting data may be stored during statutory retention periods. Security, log and abuse-related data may be stored for as long as this is necessary for the investigation, defence or enforcement of claims.

Public listings may, after expiry, deactivation or deletion, continue to be visible temporarily in backups, search engine caches, archive systems or with third parties. We have only limited influence over such external storage.

We take appropriate technical and organisational security measures to protect personal data against loss, misuse, unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration or destruction.

Security measures may include in particular access controls, encryption, logging, backups, security updates, role and authorisation concepts, as well as measures for detecting misuse.

Despite appropriate security measures, absolute data security cannot be guaranteed. The use of the internet and digital means of communication always involves certain risks.

  • Erasure of personal data;
  • Restriction of processing;
  • Objection to certain processing activities;
  • Release or transfer of certain data;
  • Withdrawal of consent given with effect for the future;
  • Complaint to a competent data protection supervisory authority.

To exercise these rights, a data subject may contact us at [Datenschutz-E-Mail]. We may require appropriate proof of identity before processing a request.

Certain rights may be restricted, in particular where legal obligations, overriding interests, trade secrets, security interests or rights of third parties prevent this.

21. Rights under GDPR for users from the EU/EEA

Insofar as the GDPR applies, data subjects also have the rights under the relevant provisions of the GDPR, in particular the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, objection, as well as the right to withdraw consent at any time.

Where processing is based on legitimate interests, data subjects may object on grounds relating to their particular situation. Direct marketing may be objected to at any time.

22. Minors

YachtSale.ai is not directed at children. Persons under 18 years of age may use the platform only with the consent of a legal representative, insofar as use is permitted at all.

If we determine that personal data of minors has been processed without the required consent, we may delete such data and block the user account.
